People will say, “ok that’s over, move on”. But I know for a damn fact it is not over, not ever. Each scan is a new hurdle, but just keep walking forward. After you get the results of each one it’s cause to celebrate! In fact everything is a cause to celebrate.!
I cried with relief all the way to the hospital to get that port taken out. I cried with gratitude all the way home... more celebration.
That 5 year mark... omg. Life really is easier after that. A lot of fear and dread drops away on that day. Celebrate that too!!
