Dear Mary Elizabeth, Cinco, Forrest and all the Feuilles. I cannot tell you how astounded and crushed I was to hear of Elizabeth's passing. I actually learned it by accident as I had tried to call her many times and, of course, got no answer. As you may know, Elizabeth and I were friends at William Woods, along with Cheree Briggs Cleghorn, Holly Hart, Nikki Nixon and Susan Campbell. Elizabeth was at my wedding, as were Cheree, Nikki and Holly. We moved to Las Cruces after Bob and I were wed and not long after, your lovely, wonderful mother and dear, dear friend, married and moved to El Paso. We had many good times together. And then we moved to Fairfax, VA. After my daughter Christy was almost 3, we came to El Paso and Las Cruces on business for Bob and for me to see your mother. We had a wonderful time. You were a toddler and full of mischief. Cinco had just turned 4 or 5 and it was his birthday. The next day Elizabeth, you, Christy and I went to Juarez for lunch. An occasion I won't forget. Before we left for Fairfax, Cinco made a cross for me, with his name which I still have. I cannot tell you how heartbroken I have been. I'm going to send flowers to your church for Mother's Day and to honor your darling, handsome husband. All of this is so late, and I am sorry. My love to you all.

Mary Elizabeth. Shalom Of Adonai dear Mary Elizabeth, Cinco, Forest and families. I watched from Israel at midnight my time. Your mom was friend, mentor, board member with me as I chaired the mission board for a time, spiritual guide, and more. I have saved her text messages the night she came home from the hospital and couldn’t sleep, and it was my day. My late husband was Coach Stowe, St. Clement, not sure if you remember him. Your mom helped prepare me for those last days of Mike’s life and hauled my little *** to grief share the next week. And seven years ago to this day, we were pilgrims together on tour of a Israel. I treasure a huge book she gave me on Jewish traditions and customs that a rabbi had given the family, as she told me one of your dad’s grandparents, I believe, was Jewish. So many stories. So much impact in my life from both your parents. I still treasure emails from your dad who prayed for my Mike. And, we got to know each other better via mission board service. What a celebration in heaven right now. She told me she was ready to shake it up! Much love and prayers. Susie Stowe Schwarzbaum.

A beautiful and inspiring celebration. While you all are coming and going, remember I am just around the corner and call me if you need anything. Diane Tatem
