Welcome to Elizabeth "Dibi" Bracket's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.  

On Wednesday, June 13, 2018 Elizabeth (Dibi) suffered a serious bike accident while riding along Chicago's Lake Shore path.  She is currently at Stroger Hospital in a coma and in critical condition.  Her family is awaiting test results to learn more about the extent of the damage and her prognosis.  While we are all terrified and horrified by what has happened, we also know that if one person is going to beat the odds, it will be this BADASS woman!   We truly appreciate your support, prayers and words of hope and encouragement at this time.  We will keep you all updated as we learn more.  Thank you for visiting!

Friends and family,
We just spoke with my mom's doctors.  Unfortunately the news was not what we hoped.  There has been no change in her condition and no improvements.  Based on this news and that we have a large family, we ask everyone to please respect the family's privacy at this time.  We are so grateful for all of the loving messages and outpouring of support.  Please leave your thoughts and stories because we are still reading to my mom throughout the day and night.
