Mike took Elisha in this morning for Cycle 2 of chemo. Right now they are hydrating him so they can take a baseline sample then they will start his chemo around 6pm this evening. This week he is getting Methotrexate. After he receives the chemo this evening they will monitor him for 72-96hrs and continue monitoring his hydration. 

He's been emotional this week, and today. I know he could use prayers right now for strength and courage to get through this. The next few weeks will be a challenge, he will have to go in for treatments next week and the week after (same routine). His dad texted me this afternoon and said that EJ has been emotional, just dreading the thought of being in the hospital again after he was feeling better there for a bit, and knowing that he's going to have to go through everything all over again. I know he can do this, he is so strong. But we could use all the prayer warriors right now to lift him up and help him believe in his mind and his heart that he can do this as well. He's a fighter.

I will relieve Mike tomorrow afternoon and stay with EJ Thursday night. We are trying to alternate nights with him. I am thankful that we have 4 parents working together to make all of this work for EJ and Charlie and Jules.
