Elisabeth’s Story

Site created on June 23, 2020

Elisabeth (Liz) sustained injuries from a domestic assault on Saturday, June 20th. She was shot 4 times, on her birthday no less and while her son stood near by. Due to the gunshot wounds, she suffered damage to her liver, spleen, pancreas and spine, amongst other damage from the tragic event.

Liz is currently in the hospital and recovering from a multiple hour surgery to help repair damage from the gun shot wounds. It is unclear what the long term effects will be at this point. What we know is that lifestyle changes are likely based on the damage inflected and will impact both her and her son in the future. We have been told that she may never walk again. We are taking it one day at a time and working to do what is best for Liz and her son.  The road will be long but she has her friends, family and her son to help her along the way.

We will give updates as they become available, but also know that Covid-19 is making the entire process of communicating a little tougher. We are unable to visit and have any direct contact with Liz due to Covid-19. In addition, we are keeping some things private, as the police are still looking for her ex-boyfriend and based on that we are unable to share some specific details and updates.

We have established a Go Fund Me that will go to help pay for Liz's medical bills and to take care of her son in this time of need. You can donate at the below link.

In closing, know that as of today, Tuesday, June 23rd that Liz is in stable but critical condition. She is improving, but the progress is slow and will continue to be slow over the coming days.

Please send prayers and positive vibes! Thank you for the support of Liz and her son during this time!

Journal entry by JEREMIAH OSOWSKI

Good Morning - I do not know any other way to say this other than with honesty, truth and humility. I messed up!!! Go Fund Me has refunded all the money we were able to raise for Liz. All of it! I missed an e-mail that was in my junk mail for an action I needed to take. So this one is on me.
With that said, I am looking for help to raise back the $28K plus we raised together. I know it is asking a lot but its the right thing to do for Liz and her son. We will be setting up a new Go Fund Me and also will be using Cash App to get Liz the funds she and her son need.
If you were not aware, Liz just came home from the Hospital/Re-habilitation center and she is getting use to home life. Her and her son are now in need of the funds more than ever.
If you are new to the story...
Elisabeth (Liz) was a victim of a heartless act and was shot multiple times on Saturday, June 20th in the evening, her birthday no less and with her son near by. She has spent the last 3 months in the hospital battling for her life and to walk again. She returned home just this week and we were set to start using the funds for her new life.
Please help bring awareness, share, donate if you can. Thanks for all the help and generosity in advance.
