Well, we have been in Omaha since Saturday night. He spiked a fever just before supper time which meant an ER visit. After some blood cultures and some antibiotics he got to ride in an ambulance to UNMC while I nervously drove behind them. 🙁
Fevers have been up and down over the last few days and every time he spikes, it’s another 48 hours on the clock that we have to stay and wait! 😳
He has lost at least 5 pounds since we have been here. Today’s weight says he’s up 9 ounces!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 We are both really hoping he doesn’t need a feeding tube!!
His hair started falling out in big clumps so he asked if I would just shave it. Luckily my parents had clippers so I was happy to oblige. The nurses have been saying how tough he looks now! 😊
We appreciate all of the calls and texts to see how he is doing! ❤️❤️❤️
Hopefully we can get out of here before we have to be back next Tuesday for his next chemo treatment. I told him not to make a habit of this!!! 😂
