Thanks for sharing your truth. There is healing in speaking your experiences and acknowledging the difficult times. I am happy you are playing in the Colorado outdoors and letting it heal you physically and emotionally. It is amazing what fresh mountain air can do to heal the soul.

Eric, thank you for your update and for your eloquence. We are staying in Breckenridge for almost a month in August and we'd love to come take a bike ride with you, Maria, and the kids.

Hi Eric, I'm so glad to get your journal update as I've been wondering how you are evolving as your recovery from the resection progresses. Had no idea you had the plate removed in close succession. You have definitely been "through" it and I'm very happy to learn that it is, so far, heading in a more positive direction that we'd first anticipated! It is a challenge to regain the control of physical system! Enjoy the kids and summer!

To step into this journey through your words has helped me to build compassion and be with others should they not be as candid as you have been - and for that, I am grateful to you. I look forward to seeing you speak this week at COILS and see Maria and the littles.

You beautifully articulate so many of the messy and confusing thoughts and feelings that come with this journey.
