You don't know me but we have a mutual friend, Mary Snyder O'Dea from St. Anthony Park in St. Paul, and I was acquainted with Ann when she was in elementary school and I was part of the staff there. It's another colorless winter overcast day here in St. Paul and the ice and snow keep me inside much so I surf through FB friends' sites and found you through Mary, then Anne, and then on to you. I am so very deeply touched with your writings about Nora. How beautifully you write of her. I have a five year old Great Granddaughter Nora, who has been undergoing treatment for leukemia for over two years; she also has a CaringBridge site which has brought comfort and love to us. It's a world that only people going through it can really understand. My heart truly and sincerely goes out to Ann, Nick and you. And I now know Nora through your words.

I love all of the poetry that’s come into my life through your writing. I’ve shared some of the pieces that move me the most with loved ones, and have had meaningful conversations as a result. Nora continues to bring joy and connection to people several degrees removed from her life. I can’t wait to visit her park.

Thank you. You prove to me week after week that vulnerability = bravery, something I've needed to breathe and wade in a lot lately. Sending you infinite love and gratitude my friend.
