Newest Update

Journal entry by Eileen Fitzenreiter

Things have been going along with no big updates.  The most recent scans show a slight increase in the spots on both lungs and my liver.  Spine and other bones were unchanged.

We anticipated that the doctor might want to change my mediations to IV Chemo but for another few weeks he thinks I can continue the oral pill that I have been taking.   We were relieved and thankful!!  They will repeat the scans and changes may be necessary at that time which we will discuss.   The quality of my days is more important to us than the quantity which will factor into the decision of how we will proceed.

I have been blessed with many more days of feeling well and the ability to continue doing the job I have enjoyed so much.  However, I am retiring July 31, 2022.   I am looking forward to enjoying the family and so many friends that the Good Lord has surrounded me with.

The continued cards, flowers, calls, kindnesses, and all the prayers touch my heart.   Thank you!
