Always good to hear ....so proud of your willingness and continued determination Eileen! prayers faith and hope for a beautiful lady! So grateful to share this journey with all of you. God bless you...Hugs and love , Cindy
My husband is Leah Hayslett's cousin and we have following Eileen's journey since we heard about her hospitalization. Her situation sounds so very much like that of my sister-in-law Sharon who had two bleeds on her brain and several strokes and seizures after a fall in her home in March of last year. She was in the Mayo Hospital in Florida for many months and then went to two different Rehab Centers in the Jacksonville Area. She came home with caregivers after many months in the hospital and rehab Centers and continued therapy at home for several more months after that. I am happy to report she is doing beautifully and is even driving and shopping on her own at this time. It has been so amazing and wonderful. It sounds like Eileen is on much the same journey and we are keeping her in our thoughts and prayers and will hope she will do just as well as Sharon. It is wonderful that Eileen is determined to improve and so was Sharon. Thinking of all of you and hoping the journey continues to get better and better.
Just as I was reading this, Peter, Paul and Mary were singing "Hold me like you'll never let me go." That's what we're doing, Jack. Blessings on dear Eileen for saying "I want to do this." I can't think of better words escaping her lips.
Love to all,
Larry
