Eileen’s Story

Site created on July 7, 2020

Two years after being diagnosed with stage 1a breast cancer and having a lumpectomy, Eileen’s breast cancer has returned.  This time she has been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.  After finding another lump in her breast at her last routine mammogram, they have determined it has also spread to her lung, liver, back, hip, and sacrum.  Prayers and support are greatly appreciated as Eileen has a long road ahead of her full of treatments and care.  Thank you for loving her! Kaylee and I will be posting regular updates on this site.

Journal entry by Eileen Eastridge

Hello to all you beautiful people! I am here to share great news! My tumors continue to shrink and my bloodwork is good! The tumor markers are now out of the "HIGH" zone and into the "NORMAL" category.  My docs are so happy with all of this they have decided to change the treatment plan. I can now visit them once every 3 months instead of every month, for my bloodwork and shot. I have body scans every 6 months. The best news of all is I feel really good. I have occasional problems with side effects but mostly feel healthy and well.  Thank you all for you prayers and well wishes. I love you all. 💖
