The amount of respect and admiration I and others have for Ed is huge. At the conferences when Ed spoke everyone listened. He will surely be missed by many people. It is not often that someone can leave behind such a huge legacy and lasting memory on so many. God Bless!!

Dear Ward family and Milwaukee Irish Fest friends. Our hearts are with you.

The affects from Edward J. Ward’s passion, talents and commitment ripple far across the globe. Music was played, friends were made, and so much more. All because of Ed. The world is better for his being here. The world will be different without him.

Our condolences to the family that he loved so, and that loved him back deeply. And to all the fine friends and folks that feel the loss of this meaningful human being.

Ed will be missed by us ~ and so many.

I was privileged To be Ed's cousin. As a child I knew him as a friend at whose house I spent many days. As an adult I saw him less but was always in awe of all that he did for family and the Irish community. God bless him and his family. Ed Ward was a very special man. When we began Irishfest La Crosse 15 years ago he was a wealth of information for our new organization and helped us tremendously with many of the decisions that had to be made. He attended our fest numerous times and remained only a phone call away if he could help in any way. Irishfest La Crosse extends our deepest sympathies to the entire Ward family.
