*11/1: Ed was moved to Oaklawn Rehab Center back in Mankato where he continues to gain strength and mobility. He continues to make progress and we are so thankful to have him here with us!

Newest Update

Journal entry by Shelby Boche (Pankratz)

Awesome update on Ed's recovery - today Ed was able to stand for 5 minutes, then use the walker to turn himself and sit into a chair! This is a huge improvement from the last few months as Ed has been in a wheelchair, working on building muscle mass every day in rehab. He has a meeting on Thursday with his care team, before a long-awaited return home (for good!!) on Saturday, February 9th! The addition of a ramp to Sue and Ed's home will make the transition easier.

If you would like to visit Ed at Oak Lawn prior to his departure, please do so from 3-7pm as he is in physical therapy for most of the morning.

A big thank you to all of our family and friends for your continued support over the past 5 months.

Love and blessings,
Shelby
