Ed’s Story

Site created on July 31, 2020

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.

On July 31st, 2020 we learned that Ed's pancreatic cancer returned and has spread to his liver. The cancer is now stage 4 and incurable.  The news was very unexpected as he has lived cancer free for 12 years.  Ed will begin chemotherapy in an effort to extend the time he has left with us.

Please visit this site in lieu of calling or stopping by.  We know that you love us and want to help. However, it is just too much to answer phone calls throughout the day. We will send out requests for meals/donations/etc if we need them. But our family needs to focus all of our efforts on Ed. We will keep this site updated throughout this journey. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Please feel free to write messages under the 'well wishes' tab above.
