Ed was my mentor in my early work to implement EBP and my coach as I worked to transform Travis County Probation. But mostly he was welcome friend. I admired him, enjoyed his presence, and his contributions to criminal justice are too numerous to count.

I have known Ed for 18 years. I was part of his first graduating class from the UC School of Criminal Justice. Over the years Dr. Latessa has been a mentor to me and my field of Probation. RIP Ed, thank you for your contributions in the field of CJ!

Dearest Ed, we are praying for your return to good health and the joy of your family. Tom and I love you so much. You have taught me so much just by being who you are. You are always in our hearts.
