Dad has had a rough couple of weeks. He fell several times. We learned that the falls were because his heart was not strong enough to keep his blood pressure at a normal level. 

Unfortunately, he is not a candidate for any type of heart surgeries or procedures. This knowledge, compounded with his long standing renal failure, led us to a hard decision. 

Today, we brought dad hone from the hospital and began hospice care. 

Dad would love phone calls and visits, although is is very weak and tired.
