Edith passed away this evening at 6:14 pm Pacific. I was blessed to be with her and she passed peacefully. We knew the end was near as she had stopped accepting food and was taking in minimal water. Today a Deacon from the Episcopal church came and did some end of life blessings and anointed her. It was beautiful and I believe it gave her strength and peace for her journey home. In accordance with her wishes she is being cremated (locally) and I will arrange a memorial service for her at a later date. Thanks to all for the good wishes and prayers.
