I’m so excited to share about a fundraiser I am working on in honor of Trisomy awareness month to benefit an organization that is so near and dear to my heart, The Stella Effect. 

Those who are familiar with Eden’s story know that hedgehogs and roses have become special reminders of her. Hedgehogs remind us of Hedgie, the musical hedgehog toy she loved in the NICU. Roses remind us of her because of her middle name, and also because of a special gift that I received the day after she passed away. 

Cards have become so special to me recently. There have been many times where a simple note or card from a friend has brightened my day and kept me going. It is always a comfort to know that people continue to remember Eden and think about us in our grief journey. That is the heart behind these cards, that they would be used to send encouraging messages to someone who may be in need of a “hedgehug”. 

The card is a painting of two hedgehogs, to represent both of my children who bring me so much hope and light. The card was designed by a local watercolor artist Lil and E who brought my vision to life in the most beautiful way. I am so in love with how it turned out.
