Home sweet home!!   This man has exceeded everyone’s expectations.  We were completely caught off guard when, over the weekend, doctors took Edel off oxygen, physical therapy told us he was too good for rehab, his neurologist found his brain to be “perfect”... so yesterday he got to come home!  He will need lots of tender, loving care at home as he is still using a walker until his strength and balance is back.  He’ll be getting PT out-patient and will need follow up appointments, including a 2 day neurological study at Mayo. But he is ready for all those challenges and more with his girls and all of you by his side!  Thank you again everyone for your support!

Hogar, dulce hogar! Este hombre ha excedido todas las expectativas.  Nos sorprendió cuando, durante el fin de semana, lo quitaron del oxígeno, el departamento de terapia física determinó que no necesitaba ir a un centro de rehabilitación, el neurólogo determinó que su cerebro está “perfecto”...así que ayer lo dieron de alta!!! Todavía va a necesitar muchas atenciones porque tiene que usar una caminadora mientras agarra más fuerzas y coordinación. Necesita continuar con sus terapias y tener un estudio neurologico de dos dis en la clínica Mayo.  Pero está listo para eso y más con el apoyo de todos ustedes a su lado.  Mil gracias nuevamente por su apoyo!!
