Earl was my pastor during my college years at the UW in the early 90’s. Earl has had such an impact on my faith journey. I am so grateful for the opportunity to watch his memorial service on live stream. My heart is broken over the loss of such a wonderful pastor and teacher! Love and prayers to his family.

Watching the memorial service from north Florida: all of the family tributes were so wonderful in sharing Earl’s character: I was moved to tears, silence and laughter by Shirley’s wonderful testimony. Douglas Dupree

We are just returning home from attending the exceptional memorial service for an exceptional man. The breadth and depth of Earl’s reach was obvious in the diverse crowd. Each person II talked to shared amazing stories of Earl and Shirley’s impact on their life.

Dear Shirley and family....holding you all in my heart and prayers as you honor and celebrate Earl this morning! Tom and I will join the First Pres Berkeley community soon to do so from here. We remain so grateful for all the years Earl offered to us and to many with his opening up the Gospel to make it come alive through his unique whimsical way. Big hugs, Jill and Tom Boyce
