As most of you have noticed, we have been pretty quiet ever since Dylan had his last round of chemotherapy on January 29th.  We were excited because we had landed and he was supposed to be done with all the bad stuff; the sickness, the loss of hair, and the rapid weight gain (60 pounds) from the steroids he had to take.  We were excited to get to the gate and finally get off of the plane taking us on this journey, only to be told that we had to wait on the tarmac because there was a delay.  The delay occurred when he went for his final PET scan in February.  He had the scan and when he met with his oncologist he was told that there were two lymph nodes in his groin that looked suspicious and could possible still be some cancer.  We were told that the only way to determine if there was still cancer was to have one removed and have a biopsy done on it.  So there we sat, knowing that the end was in sight, yet having to wait until we could get off the plane.
