Dylan, thank you for writing about your experiences and allowing us all to feel a small part of your journey. It is what makes us human; to share experiences - good and bad, to overcome obstacles with other, to love, to live. I'm so happy to hear all the positive news you share and hope and pray you have entered a new phase of living. Best wishes to you and Taylor in this new chapter.

Dylan,
This experience has been grueling for you and all those that care about you! Your bravery and vulnerability are amazing and will be helpful as you continue with your medical training. The patients you see will be lucky to have you as their physician.
To your donor: Thank you for your life saving gift!

To Dylan's donor, I don't think there are enough words in the world for me to adequately thank you for what you have given to my beautiful son. How do you thank someone for allowing their child a chance at life? My heart broke on the day of his diagnosis and has never been the same. Without your gift there would have been no hope. I am crying as I write this right now. Dylan is an amazing person and son and my world would be forever dimmed without his light. Thank you , thank you thank you!

What a journey Dylan, so stoked for your progress. Can't wait to see you again one of these days when you're back in PDX, perhaps even around the gym. Truly appreciate your sharing everything with us + the sharp perspective you have on life. Safe travels!

Dylan, You are an amazing young man. Your courage, tenacity and vulnerability are staggering and inspiring. I'm so thankful that you're on this side of the process. I often pray for you and thank God for what He has brought you through. (All that tremendous science and medical knowledge are from Him, as well as His great love for you.) I hope and pray the best for your continued progress and remission. To your wonderful donor: Thank you so much for your generosity and selflessness to give a life saving gift. May God bless you. I hope your meeting with Dylan & Taylor is wonderful.

Dylan, as always you write with incredible heart and truth. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I'm so proud that you have re-joined us in your residency training, and know you have great things to offer in dermatology. I hope you will keep in touch when you move to Pennsylvania to let us know how you are.
To your donor - THANK YOU for making it possible for this incredible young man to continue to offer his gifts to the world. We appreciate so much what you have done.
