My dad, mom, Kim and Shelly met with the health care professionals today and were planning to have dad come home tomorrow for home hospice.  Shelly and Kim left after the meeting and went to mom's house to prepare the living room for the hospital bed to be delivered at 5PM.  Dad was going to have one more procedure this afternoon to drain fluid from his abdomen to make him more comfortable.    Before they even brought dad out of the room for this procedure, he passed away peacefully with my mom at his side.

Sadly, we were never able to read any messages to dad as he was in too big of hurry to get to Heaven.
