Journal entry by Dusty Gomel

Well I finished the last of the doxyrubicin/cyto treatments. This next Monday I start once a week with taxol. I hear it's a little easier just different side effects. Neuropathy in hands and feet. 4 weeks after chemo ends will be surgery. I'm guessing somewhere around mid August.
We received good news today. On ultrasound the tumor shrunk from 1.5 cm to 0.5 cm. The tech had a hard time finding it at first. I reminded her there were clips in both side of it from the double biopsy. It helped her find it.
Over all I'm doing pretty good. Hoping the next chemo is easier on my digestive system and mouth. Kids are doing well. They are adapting to home school well. Matt's doing well. He takes good care of me. He's off work for a few more weeks.
Thank you to everyone who has checked in on us. We are truly blessed with so many wonderful people in our lives.
