I'm so happy to hear this. I'm not ready for two things, Duffy not being here and great grandchildren. Tell him fruits and vegetables, and beans and rice. That was just too real. Give him my love and I still want a phone call when he is settled.
Anne, I was in Alaska when you made your first posting. I am so happy for you and your family!!! I was very worried and have been keeping track of his progress. I know we aren't really all that close but I sure felt your pain and fear. your relief must be as big as your fear was. Thank you for keeping all of us in the loop of his care and progress. I am so relieved to hear he can go home with nothing more than your watchful eye. Such wonderful news!!!Now the comes the hard part for him, changing his lifestyle to include healthier food options and more movement. It's a struggle for all of us but I know he can do it and you will be his support system (nagging voice). lol Take care and keep in touch.
