Thank you for sharing these updates. What an honor to know Matt and meet some of his family and friends during the Head for the Cure walk. Matt was an inspirational friend that always taught me along the way to be compassionate, innovative, and passionate. He would always ask me as he was working hard in therapy "Do you love what you do?" because that is most important. He would always our day with a sincere "I appreciate you and what you do for me". Of course he always had some beat cancer shirt on to further his message. Rest easy Matt.

It was such an honor to see Matt's family and friends pay tribute to him at the service on Wednesday. Anyone that knew Matt knew he was one of best. Regardless of what he was going through he always asked how you were doing. His friendships were wide and many and I'm betting he never met a stranger. I know we won't see Matt anymore but he is now with his beloved wife Wendy who he has missed so much! Love to all that miss Matt the most and to those that will never have the chance to know him and what a wonderful human he was and that he brought so much to so many!

Thank you for this information Abby. Wendy was one of my very dearest friends, and I came to know and adore Matt through her. The service was a wonderful tribute to a very special man.
