So sorry to hear of Dr Kenndys passing. I was actually on his work FB page & read the sad news. I had hoped to schedule an appointment to see him again as he has done 4 of my surgeries & was such a great & caring Dr. I'm 4 hours away but it was definitely worth it to come see Dr Kennedy & know I was in good hands. Now I know I will see him again one day. Sending his family lots of love, happy memories & prayers🙏🏼❣

So sorry to hear of Woody's illness and passing. His humor and wit were always entertaining in Sunday School. He made a profound and positive impact on so many people. Love and hugs to you all in this very difficult time.

I am truly going to miss his wonderful soul. He was an amazing person and so down to earth. Let's not forget highly educated. Dr. Kennedy saved my life after my boyfriend tried to take it so this really hurts that he saved my life and lost his but I know God knows best. I also know that he wouldn't want to see me sad. I have followed you all this whole time, I just didn't know what to say. In my mind I just knew that he would beat this because he was such a strong-willed person, but once again God knows best. Dr. Kennedy always kept me laughing I looked forward to traveling to Chattanooga from Georgia to see him on my visits! I pray that he will continue to watch over me during my healing journey and give his partners the best solution for my healing needs. I also pray for peace for you and your family. I am truly grateful for all that he has ever done for me and that God placed someone as talented in my life to be there when I really needed it! I will never forget you! Sincerely ,

So sorry to hear about Woody's passing, he was an amazing guy. He made my General Surgery experience tolerable and I followed his lead and went into Plastic Surgery after leaving UAB. To know Woody was to love him. My thoughts & prayers go out to his family at this difficult time, but we all know Woody is in a better place and making all of those around him smile. Godspeed my friend, until we meet again.

I've been a patient of Dr. Kennedy since 1997, 15 surgeries. His kindness, compassion and sense of humor were cherished. A great surgeon, and we all knew what a proud dad and husband. My thoughts and prayers are with y'all. And did I mention that I loved when he sang like Elvis before surgery? RIP Dr. Kennedy, you will be missed.
