This is truly truly heartbreaking. Please find solace in knowing he is no longer suffering and finally at peace. God has His reasons for taking the good guys early and Doug was not only good; but truly a GREAT GUY. The family left behind will anguish over the loss; but know that he has joined the angels above and will watch over all of you till you meet again. My love to you ALL!

My prayers are for you and your family. How very sad I felt to read this final entry. I hope you will find strength and comfort in knowing so many of us are with you in spirit.

Although Dennis & I haven’t seen Doug lately, this news deeply saddens us. We always enjoyed time spent with Doug & Laura. Please know that the entire family is in our thoughts and prayers.

May Doug rest in peace. He was a wonderful man. His spirit will live on through his children & beyond. Love & prayers to the entire Mills family at this difficult time.

May Doug be greeted at the gates of Heaven by every loved one that went before him. I pray his family know how much he loved them and how much the community loves his family.
