I am so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. I have wonderful memories of my time teaching at Mt. View and Doug was such a huge part of that. I especially remember him planning those overnight field trips that the kids loved getting to do! But he did so much more than that! Take care of yourselves. Stefni Stephens
Gloria, Lindsey, Chris and family, Heavens new Angel is one very special man! He touched our lives in so many ways! He was a friend from church who captured our hearts with his beautiful music! He was an amazing teacher for 5 years with Stephanie. Bringing so many for things into her life! music concerts, 3 day trips, compassion like no other teacher around! To become her friend! Someone who became like family to us by our best friends (Bev and Brian). He will forever be an amazing man loved by all! Feel so blessed to know him and his family! I have his Facebook many concerts to listen to for years!
Your whole family are in our thoughts and prayers!
Although we know Doug is with the Lord whole and healthy, your family has a huge hole in it right now. Our hearts are with you. We pray for peace and comfort for all if you.
So sorry for your loss. It is very difficult losing a loved one. However, we can rejoice that Doug is no longer in pain and we will be together again in paradise. Hugs and prayers for you and your family.
It is with so much mixed emotion we grieve Doug's passing, feeling our loss, but knowing his gain! His faith has become sight, his hope fully realized. Now remaining, forever deepening , love, and a growing oneness, to Him!

Lindsey I'm so sorry for the heart hurt that you all are undoubtedly experiencing. Without Jesus I don't know how one could cope. The promise of reuniting is what gives us the strength to carry on. He is singing and worshipping with Jesus now. Love you
Gloria, Chris, Lindsey, and family: we are weeping now as we read your second sentence. We are holding each other while you embrace each other and as the Lord comforts you with His presence. While we know Doug is already with the Lord, experiencing healing, free from suffering, and hoping to play a song for/with Yeshua soon, we are playing and singing over each of your family now: "What a healing Yeshua we find in you; What a healing Yeshua, You refresh, restore, and renew; What a healing Yeshua for such a time as this; Arise in healing now, O Son of Righteousness." We love you and Doug forever. Grace and shalom in Yeshua.
