Doug’s Story

Site created on February 23, 2021

Doug Milward succumbed to cancer this morning, February 23, 2021.  Doug had survived cancer several times.  Last week he went to the hospital in pain and they found cancer in his liver, lymph system and colon.  This morning, as they were considering treatment options, he went into renal failure and could not be revived.    He leaves behind his wife Doreen, dogs Wiggles and Autumn, a brother, Frank and nephew, Brad, many cats, sheep and a hell of a lot of friends.

A memorial will be planned when we can get together and celebrate his life. Doug will be cremated and his ashes spread on the farm.
