I think of Dorothy often - her quiet, steady wisdom and love of life and the world's beauty. I don't leave Orcas except for vet visits in Anacortes with my cat, but I often wonder how she is doing. I'm sure so many people do. How do we find out? Is there an address where she gets mail? I don't know if she would remember me. but I remember her and what an impact she made here on Orcas just by being herself and working at the Resource Center. I hope she knows she is loved and thought of, even by those of us on the periphery of the radiance of her bright spirit.
