Hannah - your post brought tears to my eyes! I am so happy for your family! My husband was in a bad accident and was in ICU at Harborview for 5 days (on life support) and another 10 days outside ICU. I'm glad you are limiting her visitors as she needs SLEEP! Sleep and nutrition are what will help your momma have a full recovery. The one thing my husband said after he got out is he never got sleep in the ICU (especially) or on the general floor as nurses were constantly coming in and taking blood, taking vitals, etc. I love that Dori is now home and is with her family!

Sweet Dori - you are one strong, determined lady! I'm soo incredibly thankful for your outcome. You are blessed with an amazing family, wonderful friends and a beautiful daughter who loves you so much! Great job Schoenbein family! And I couldn't agree more - I have so much respect for nurses! Thank you again for your wonderful updates and thank the lord for Caringbridge! I wish your family all the best!!
