Journal entry by Rhonda Walsh —
This morning at 5:24, the boat Heaven bound landed, delivering a beautiful soul, our mother Dora Talbot Oxborrow into the arms her Savior. No doubt Dad, who left this world in 2008, wrapped his loving arms around her in a bear hug. Those that have received that hug know it well. I am sure Marty is there telling her how much he loves her. Her baby sister, Jann is there, if I know Aunt Jann she is saying something like, “it is quite a journey but oh boy is it worth it.” Her Parents and in laws are there. Family and more family all anxious to welcome her home. There is no sadness only light, peace and love. Incredible love!! I am so happy for you mom, such a life well lived! She did amazing things in a body that had been ravaged by rheumatoid arthritis. Now she can rest, well for a little bit cause I imagine the Lord has a great work for her and daddy to do! Mom was not one to be idle.
Those of us on this side will miss you deeply. I don’t think she knew how much her children and grand children relied on her. It will be tough to carry on, but we will go forward in faith with a brightness of hope and a love of God and all men, strengthened by Christ, whose we are. Until we meet again…..❤️❤️❤️
