Don’s Story

Site created on September 21, 2019

For a couple of months Don had been having this annoying cough that wouldnt go away. His concern grew and he agreed to go to the ER to have it checked out. On  September 6th, 2019 he was admitted to the hospital because they found multiple masses in his chest cavity via an x-ray. He spent 5 days in the hospital and many test were ran. He got a biopsy done on September 10th, then they realest him from the hospital that same day.  He had a follow up appointment on September 18th where they confermed he had Diffuse Large Cell B Lymphoma (Stage 2).  He is having a port placed on Monday and will start receving strong chemoterapy treatment at the end of this month. At this time we are not sure how many treatments he will need. We appricate all your prayers and support as he fights this battle for a second time.  I am his granddaughter Meredith Skinner. I will be running this account and updating everyone throught this journey we are on.
