I’d love to know the things they teach her to deal with pain - to compare notes. If she wants a phone buddy to commiserate with when she gets home, my mother would be a good one. Mom’s been through all of it. It’s really hard. Attitude makes a difference. She’ll need tons of encouragement and understanding.
