A little over 3 months since moms sudden diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer she gained her wings last night and is flying free. She had so many setbacks due to her surgeries and she fought extremely hard to overcome that and give us all a couple amazing weeks with lasting memories with her. Each one of us was lucky to get that extra time to laugh, watch movies, get her outside, eat lunch / dinner and reminisce with her. She got to spend a couple good visits with Kody & Kaden (her 2 grandsons) and play one last game of rummy. She has been surrounded by all of us over this past week. Her siblings, her best friend Nancy and I were fortunate enough to be able to say goodbye to her. She chose to live out her remaining time at Nancys cabin. It was her happy place. Her and Nancy have been best friends for 37 years and Nancy became her full time care taker with the help of moms siblings and myself. She is truly one of moms angels. Our hearts are breaking and we all greatly loved her and she will be missed so much but we are all glad she is pain free and flying high now. She now gets to dance with Tom Petty and be free of cancer. Please say a prayer for our family as we all deal with her loss. Until we meet again Momma..... we all love you so much and miss you already!
