Dear friends and loved ones,
By now most of you have heard that Dad went home to be with the Lord yesterday afternoon after an intense fight with brain cancer. We were honored to be by his side when he passed from this life into the next and are rejoicing that he has been re-united with Mom. We will miss him terribly.
Dad's Celebration of Life Service will be April 20 at 2:30 p.m. here in his retirement community. We have discovered that the internet bandwidth and lack of technological equipment will make it very challenging to bring in remote audiences, so we cannot do a Zoom service while also doing a live service. Given the space limitations we will face, it is best to limit guests to those who are local. We have so appreciated your care for us during this time. As a last act of kindness, if you wish to donate to one of the charities we found to be so helpful to us, please do so in Dad's honor. His obituary, included below, has those details.
