Just like all of your messages this still shows the amount of love you had for Don. Our thoughts and prayers seemed such a small thing, but they were there and you knew you were not alone. I do hope we can get together sometime for lunch or something refreshing. We’ll have to wait until after this virus goes away. I’m hunkered down with Carl and have told our children and grandchildren to stay home. We are learning more about the internet and Amazon than I ever wanted to know. Please take care of yourself. I am so humbled and proud of you and your beautiful spirit Katie! I've wanted to reach out to you over the past few months, but felt you were very overwhelmed. You & Don needed to be together every moment! How blessed he was to have you and vice versa. I know the months ahead will be so tough, but do remember how many folks truly love and support you!

With a broken heart, you continue to give to others, through your loving and tender words. The sacrifices you made to uplift, encourage and be the cheerleader Don needed is one of the most unselfish acts of love I have witnessed. You were the hope he leaned on each moment. Katie, you were his hero, alway there beside him. You are the gift that gave him peace. 💕
