Greetings dear friends in Christ! I continue to rejoice in Him and look forward to trusting in His daily love and provision even though the battle is getting harder. This last few days have been filled with more abdominal pain such that my normal pain meds are not able to subdue it. last night was one that held very little sleep and it was a continual prayer and yielding situation. Yet it was a good day and meeting with the saints it was very refreshing.
The Lord certainly knows how to comfort us in difficult times. Last night my granddaughter came over about 9:30 pm to spend the night so she could come to church with me this morning and as I sat in my office finishing up my studies in the Word from Philippians 1:21-30 she sat on the couch in the living room and practiced her choir song for today titled: "I know whom I have believed." you can not imagine the comfort it was for me to hear that song as I studied...it just caused me to thank and praise the Lord for His help and tender care.
I appreciate all the prayers and contacts from you all and am waiting on the Lord for direction. May he continue to bless all you do for Him in these coming days as we all remember that 'His grace is sufficient for us." Todays message is on www.dayofgrace.net under audio if you would like to give a listen. Love you all. Philippians 1:21, "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."
