Obituary

Donald Lynn LeBlanc, 59, passed away on April 17, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Kathryn LeBlanc; daughter, Lauren LeBlanc & granddaughter Brynlee Kutza. Also his six siblings: Greg LeBlanc, Gawain LeBlanc, Raymond K. LeBlanc, Debbie Monfries-Reyes, Glenn LeBlanc, and Kurt LeBlanc. He was preceded in death by father, Raymond LeBlanc, and mom, Lillian Patricia LeBlanc.

He was an Automotive Technician from the age of 16 and rose to Master Tech which he held with great pride. He was such an all around do-it-yourself-er, forever fixing/innovating anything & everything. Loved woodworking in his shop; painstakingly built so many things from scratch, self-taught thanks to Norm on This Old House, ha. He loved his family, everyone, and fishing for sure. So many trips over the years, camping, boating, & dipping rods -- trips everyone fondly remembers.

He was a good man -- a good husband, father/Grandpa ("Pa"), brother, and friend. He will truly be missed by all those who have known him and/or loved him. He touched many hearts and now many of those hearts are broken because we will never see Big "D" ("Donnie"/"Gator") again. Rest in peace, have peace at last, we pray you do.

Journal entry by Kathryn LeBlanc

My Aunt Evelyn wrote such a wonderful card:

Dear Kathryn, Lauren, & Bryn,
Unless my memory fails me, I met Don at your wedding. He asked me to dance & he said with a big smile, "I'm so glad you came to our wedding Aunt Evelyn." He was always genuinely happy to see me with a big bear hug. Kathy, you always said he was your Soul Mate. God bless him he has suffered enough. You have my deepest sympathy.
Love, Aunt Evelyn

Thank you so much for those sentiments & your card & generous gift, Aunt Evelyn...It was great talking to you & we will again soon.
Love you, too, K.
