No one can really understand your loss. Life is full of unknowns. You will persevere for your children and as you both taught them the greatest lesson early in their lives- devotion and love no matter what- it will shape their lives. You were a devoted and loving wife, Dom was so blessed to have you by his side. His life was shorter than most but how rich and full it was!!
The following is taken from the eulogy I gave for my nephew who died in a motorcycle accident (3-1-14) my niece, his wife, said it gave her great comfort, Tiffany I hope it does for you.... The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not get “over” the loss of a loved one. You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss that you have suffered. You will be whole again, but you will never be the same. Nor should you be the same, nor would you want to”.
I know there are no words. Please know it’s ok to grieve.
John 14:27
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid."
The Good News: Don't be scared of your emotions. Let your sorrow wash over you, give into your feelings, and you will be better for it, as God is guiding you along the way to healing.
Words can’t express the ongoing out pouring of CONTINUOUS love. Days will be lhard no doubt, but know you don’t have to Reach far for love and support 💕 we have an angel among our midst
Eventually you will get up in the morning just a little faster, "correct" the kids just a little nicer and not tear up seeing the in-laws, and a million other little things. It will never go away, but the massive pain will ease. Until then we would be happy to be of assistance in any way we can.
