Debbie’s Story

Site created on July 20, 2021

Debbie has been fighting metastatic breast cancer for the last twenty years.  On July 12th she went to the hospital to be evaluated due to new symptoms and a significant increase in the level of pain she has been dealing with over the last year.  The doctors have been doing everything they can to alleviate her pain and address the root causes of this pain.  On July 21st her oncologist told us that the cancer has begun to grow exponentially in her liver and any treatment prescribed will not be able to stop this rapid growth.  Our focus has now shifted to doing what we can to make sure she is comfortable.  Our goal was to get Debbie home and allow her to spend the time she has left with her friends and family; however, she has not been stable enough to move.  We know how much you love her and how much she loves all of you.  We appreciate your love, support, and prayers.  We will keep praying for a miracle, but her treatment is now truly in God's hands.

**We will be putting all updates and information on this site.  Please use this as a resource to reach out or if you need to you can text Sarah, Debbie's daughter.
