Dixon’s Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

As many of you know, Dixon went in for heart valve replacement surgery on Wednesday.  The surgery did not go as planned and due to unforeseen complications, Dixon is in critical condition in the cardiac ICU.  He is currently stable and resting under heavy sedation to give his body time to recover.  As updates become available, we will send them out.  Please pray for Dixon’s continued healing and strength.

Friends-
Our prayers have been answered and Dixon’s heart surgery was a tremendous success!!  Everything went as planned and Dixon is resting comfortably in the cardiac ICU with a new mechanical valve.  The plan is to move him to a step-down room tomorrow and hopefully be home in one to two weeks.
Thank you for your continued prayers for Dixon’s recovery.  The family is so grateful for all the love and support.
