Journal entry by Scott Lipscomb —
Following up on my post from yesterday, I wanted to take a moment to thank you all (again) for being such an important part of mom's pre- and post-surgery processes and for all of the comments and well wishes posted. Â They have meant so much to her throughout this period.
The time has come when mom is now fully capable of responding to emails, text messages, and phone calls ... man, is it *awesome* to realize that! Â Therefore, from this point forward, we will count on you all to reach out to "The Matriarch" directly, sending your love and well wishes directly to her!Â
As significant landmarks are passed, there may be an infrequent post on this site, but it is such a wonderful feeling to know that mom is recovering well and that she has such an incredible support network in Maryville/Knoxville, East Tennesee, and all across the nation.  Thanks for being part of the incredible team that saw her through this  process.
Onward ... let's see what see gets done during the *next* eight decades! Uh, you may think I'm joking ... but I know my mom. ;)
