HI Dilwyn's friends and family, 

It is with great excitement, and not a little surprise, that we can share the wonderful news that Dad has made significant progress in the last 3 days. He is now able to stand from his bed and walk with a frame across the room. Given the Doctor's prognosis only 3 days earlier that he was unlikely to walk again we are all dumbfounded. We are now in the process of getting his house in Surrey sorted out so that he can come home with a carer. We are hoping this will all be sorted for him in the next few weeks, we will keep you informed as to progress.
