Hello everyone. I know it has been a while since I have updated. A lot has been going on. So when all this covid started mom started a clinical trial. Since then she is down a lot of weight and has been extremely weak. At least it was keeping the tumor at bay but now it isnt really giving her a quality of life at all. This past wed we went to the hospital for her next treatment. Her hemoglobin was slightly low so they weren't able to give her another treatment and at this time mom decided that she wanted to stop this treatment. Mom is taking a break from treatment to try to build some of herself back. She has been barely able to walk only from her chair to her room and even that has been a struggle. Mom is gonna be taking some time off of work as well. She decided that was the best decision for her. The up side to it is there are other options of treatment she has not yet tried. When she is feeling a little more up to it, she will go back and discussion the next option of treatment. Mom has full faith in dr. Chugh her oncologist as well as us the kids do as well. Mom has had a rough year so far. Between her treatment and illness and still coping with the loss of our aunt her sister, she has also lost 2 very close friends of hers. Please continue to keep mom and our family in your thoughts and prayers. It is needed and we are grateful. Have a blessed day.
