Dad’s birthday was yesterday. To mark the occasion, Jud & Margaret Sprunger arranged for a special dinner at their home for Dad and invited close friends Brad & Susie Byerly to join in the fun. Margaret made a delicious meal and Dad’s birthday sugar cream pie made by Susie capped a celebratory dinner. No evening would be complete without playing cards and lots of conversation.
This was Mom & Dad’s first night out together since the accident. Life is slowly starting to get back to some sense of normalcy, but the journey continues.
This will definitely be a birthday worth remembering! As I told Dad yesterday, it sure beats the alternative! We’re just so grateful both of them are still here with us.
