"Cancer free." Some of the sweetest words EVER, right? I'm so grateful and am rejoicing with you--dancing at the thought! This year has been surreal for all of us, but even more so for you. I know having to walk out on the water must have been terrifying at times; that sinking and coming up for air routine is hard stuff, but you've come safe home. I'm celebrating your courage and strength in the face of the waves! Jewish women used to shout a phrase to each other after a great accomplishment--eschet chayil--the woman of valor of Proverbs 31. So, hear me saying it, Diane...eschet chayil!

There is a message from me, written yesterday, which I guess is circling somewhere out in virtual space, so I'll try again today! We are sending belated birthday wishes, and congratulations on the completion of your treatment! Our prayers are with you as you now focus on your goals of increased energy and strength, looking forward as well to more participation in activities...of course now, with caution! Phil and I have been transferring old VHS tapes to DVD's, and it has been fun seeing some of the gatherings of our BASICS church group...my, we certainly were young and had an abundance of energy! But even though through the years there has been a decline of energy, we can still testify to the faithfulness of God and the rich blessings of dear friends going back so many years! Thank you for your honest sharing as you reflected on the highs and lows of this experience. It has truly been of encouragement! Love the pictures! Joyce and Phil

The best two words I can think of are cancer free! I haven’t posted comments regularly but don’t think for a minute that you have not been on my mind and in my heart,. I pray everyday will bring you more strength as you move forward. We can get together when this pandemic is under control and reminisce once again. This is the best news I could hear today! Love to you and yours . Happy Birthday to you!!!!
