Diane, so happy to hear you have gotten through this part and the staff and docs were wonderful. I am sure you were wonderful to them too! Hoping the side effects go away and you start feeling like yourself again soon. Sending good wishes!
So happy to read this Diane! I'm glad you rang the bell and are making yourself eat. The mini retreat to Kauai sounds like a great way to get through treatment. Please keep posting and letting us know how you are :) Happy St. Patrick's Day!
So glad that you're done with this part of your journey - but it's very heartening to hear your insights on the positive changes in cancer treatment. You have a unique personal perspective. I think spring has waited for you, and you and Sam will have some lovely walks ahead. Enjoy a happy St. Patrick's Day!
I am so glad to read every word! I hope you shared many parts of your fun activities with the staff like the uke playing! That is a favorite memory for our entire family! I am really sorry for the bitter taste but so happy to read your words about making yourself eat - essential for good recovery. All is moving forward with our g-grandson's treatment for cancer. He and his twin celebrated their third birthday this weekend and it was a really fun time to see the caring community around this really neat family. Their 'little sister' celebrated her first birthday during the same party and all that made for a great celebration of life. I am traveling for the next several weeks but want to stay in touch with you. With much love, Pam
