Journal entry by Diana Fleenor —
Hello all.
It's been nearly a week since my dentist appointment so I thought I may be able to update you on the events of that day and since. Though the time through the trip there and back, the x-rays, cleaning and examination was painful and exhausting, I literally praised the Lord the moment the dentist told me that I have no cavities nor gum disease of concern! Given it had been many years since I had been to a dentist, this was certainly a gift of grace.
There was a recommendation given by this dentist about a controversial diagnosis and treatment for something that he thought may have a piece in my chronic illness. Because along my journey, I have been offered so many possible treatments which are of a controversial nature with many having spiritual roots with set themselves up against my faith in Christ, I have learned to take these kind of suggestions to prayer and God's word as I research it. I've done a little research thus far but I am still recovering from all the exposures and exertion which is limiting my function. Please pray with me for wisdom to discern what may or may not be good in this situation.
Additionally, there is a section on my lower gum which seems rather traumatized by the deep cleaning that was necessary because of the long-term neglect of regular cleanings. I'm rinsing with salt water several times a day as instructed by the hygienist. Yet, it is rather painful and inflamed. Would you please pray for this inflammation and pain to be resolved?
You continue to be in my prayers to know the Lord Jesus, become like him and for provision of your needs.
Blessings!
Diana
